Chanting struggle songs, throwing stones & burning valuables, KZN students on rampage(Photos)

Secondary school students are apparently now toeing the path of university students to protest with violence.

Hundreds of students from Temple Valley Secondary School in Verulam embarked on a strike this morning (Wednesday) at 09:30.

Reaction Unit South Africa was called out to the School & upon arrival Reaction Officers found hundreds of students outside the classrooms, chanting struggle songs, throwing stones & burning valuables and refuse bins. Officers from SAPS Verulam were in attendance & jointly manage to calm the tense situation.

According to students, they insisted that the Principal be removed from the school after she demanded outstanding school fees. Another group of females informed Reaction Officers that their reason for striking was related to an incident when the Principal disciplined them for having sexual intercourse with taxi drivers.

SAPS & RUSA Officers are currently standing off at the school after the students refused to leave the premises until the Principal is removed.
