Thousands of Zulu maidens flock KwaZulu-Natal reed dance


Thousands of Zulu maidens are descending on the eNyokeni royal palace in KwaZulu-Natal for this year’s reed dance.

It’s a celebration of the Zulu nation and the maidens present the reeds to King Goodwill Zwelithini.

Cultural Expert Nomagugu Ngobese said the celebration is an important part of education and cultural celebration.
