Two armed robbers arrested in Kimberley

 

KIMBERLEY – Two men aged 21 and 22 were arrested for robbery by Cluster Crime Prevention Unit members on 13 February 2020 at approximately 12:30 in Phakamile Mabija Street.

It is alleged that the police officers were doing patrol duties in the CBD when they were stopped by two unknown male persons who were robbed. The police reacted immediately and looked for the suspects. The suspects were found in possession of a blue and black bag pack containing a black knife, toy gun and three t-shirts.

The suspects were arrested and detained and will soon appear before the Kimberley Magistrates Court for robbery.
